    Only six months have passed since the first Columbus Comedy Festival, but it's time for more already! The Columbus Comedy Festival 1.5 takes place September 9-11. These three nights will feature some of Columbus' best comedians in a line-up of improv, sketch, stand-up, video, music, and more, including Columbus comedy mainstays like Monday Night Live, Columbus News InsideHer, and Comedy Revolver.

  • From Field to Table

    From Field to Table celebrates Ohio's bountiful harvest. In its second year, From Field to Table is an al fresco dining experience like no other. The evening begins with garden-inspired appetizers and herb-infused cocktails on The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company Community Garden Campus at Franklin Park Conservatory. After the cocktail hour, guests will stroll through the park to arrive at inviting candlelit dinner tables in the Grand Mallway Gardens. As the sun sets, the lights of the James Turrell installation, Light Raiment II, will illuminate the John F. Wolfe Palm House, setting the stage for a magical dinner experience under the stars. The dinner menu will celebrate Ohio's finest seasonal ingredients presented by area farmers, gardeners and artisan producers and creatively prepared by Central Ohio's leading chefs.

  • PBJ & Jazz at Topiary Park - New Basics Brass Band

    The Jazz Arts Group of Columbus (JAG) is pleased to return to the Topiary Park downtown for its second season of outdoor PBJ & Jazz concerts. PBJ & Jazz at the Topiary Park: Jazz for Kids and Families is a collaborative effort between JAG, Friends of the Topiary Park, Friends of the Library, and the Columbus Museum of Art. PBJ & Jazz concerts are 1-hour long interactive concerts designed to introduce jazz and American music to young children and their families. Featuring some of Columbus' finest musicians and ensembles, PBJ & Jazz concerts are hosted by former Columbus Music Hall owner and retired music educator Rebecca Ogden and are a great introduction to live music for the youngest audience member. PBJ & Jazz at the Topiary Park concerts are free and follow family storytime at 11:00 AM at the Main Library. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and a blanket. The noon concert will conclude with a hands-on art activity, from 1-2 p.m. presented by the Columbus Museum of Art.
